3. Public Hearing to consider the petition of John D. White for a change in <br />zoning from a Multiple - Family Dwelling District No. 1 (MW-1) to a <br />General Retail District (GR), Lot 1, Block 102 -A, located at 227 & 229 S.E. <br />13th. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Cesar Horta arrived. <br />John D. White, Rt. 5, Paris, spoke in favor of the zoning change. He owns a <br />sewing studio on 24th S.E. and is currently in a building on Clarksville St. He <br />would like to remodel the building and locate the sewing studio here. <br />Ms. Patricia Robertson wants no parking area along street. She was advised to <br />contact James Barnett at Paris Police Department and make request for no parking <br />to Traffic Commission. She was not opposed to the zoning request. <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />Motion was made to approve by Curtis Fendley and seconded by Michael <br />Dangerfield. The motion carried by a vote of 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br />4. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Wilma Jean Villa for a change in <br />zoning from One - Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to a One - Family <br />Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3) With Specific Use Permit (39) Mobile Home, <br />Lot 18, City Block 250, located at 2155 Stillhouse Road. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Ms. Wilma Jean Villa, 2155 Stillhouse Rd., spoke in favor of the zoning change. <br />Ms. Villa has the owned property since 1990 and has been fixing it up. A picture <br />was passed around of the property and the mobile that she desires to put here. She <br />has spoken to neighbors, they are not opposed. <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />Motion was made to approve by Joe McCarthy and seconded by Michael <br />Dangerfield. The motion carried by a vote of 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br />5. Consider the recommendation of the Final Plat of Lot 11,-City Block 187, <br />located in the 900 Block of Lamar Avenue. <br />
