secured, repaired or demolished. Civil penalties can also be defined and assessed <br />if the action required by the Commission is not carried out within the time frame <br />set in the judgment. The Commission can also grant a continuance if it is <br />warranted. Mr. Lestock cautioned the Commission about granting too many <br />continuances. He also stated that granting multiple continuances on the same case <br />can be a problem. Continuances over thirty days must be issued only because of <br />the scope or complexity of the work.
