KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2014 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK PM <br />The Airport Advisory Board meeting was called to order by Billy Copeland, Chairman, at <br />5: 30 p. m. <br />A. The following members were present: Ray Ball, Billy Copeland, Phillip Payne, <br />Jack Ashmore, Chris Fitzgerald and William Tolleson <br />B. The following members were absent: Dennis Ashby <br />C. Also present was Shawn Napier, Airport Director; Jerry Richey, Airport Manager; <br />Sue Lancaster, City Council; Ashley Fendley, City Staff; Charles Richards, <br />eParisTexas.com; and Lauren Corbell, Paris News. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. (January 16, 2014; January 21, 2014) <br />Motion was made by Jack Ashmore, seconded by William Tolleson to approve the <br />meeting minutes for January 16, 2014 and January 21, 2014. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />3. Report from the Joint Sub - Committee with PEDC. <br />A. Discuss and create a list ofpositives and negatives about the Cox Field Airport. <br />Positives <br />• A Master Plan is being created to bring water and sewer services to Cox Field. <br />• Land available (see Master Plan map for locations and acreages) <br />• Runway availability <br />• 3 Runways: a 6,000 foot lighted main runway and two 4,625 foot crosswind <br />runways with complete parallel taxiway system <br />• No Landing fees <br />• Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) on Runway 17 -35 <br />• Incentives (to be determined by joint committee) <br />• Fly -Ins <br />• Fuel Sales (100LL and jet -A fuel) <br />• Terminal Building with conference room and pilots lounge <br />• Proposed 10 -unit T- Hangars to be constructed in 2015 <br />
