Sec. 7-164. Penalties. <br /> I t <br /> That any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be <br /> guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to <br /> exceed $2,000.00, and each and every day's continuance of any violation of the <br /> above enumerated sections shall constitute and be deemed as a separate offense. <br /> <br /> Sections 7-165 - 7-180. Reserved." <br /> <br /> Section 6. That it is hereby declared to be the intention of the City Council of the City of <br />Paris that the sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses, and phrases of this ordinance are severable <br />and, if any phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, or section of this ordinance shall become declared <br />unconstitutional or unlawful by the valid judgment or decree of any court of competent <br />jurisdiction, such finding of unconstitutionality or invalidity shall not affect any of the remaining <br />phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs, or sections of this ordinance, it being the intention of the <br />City Council that such remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br /> Section 7. That all other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith and not <br />expressly addressed herein are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict only. <br /> <br /> Section 8. That this ordinance shall become effective on August 1, 2002. <br /> <br /> PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 17th day of June, 2002. <br /> <br /> M~ch~el J.
