Item Six: After discussion, it was generally agreed that the Paris Main Street Program office would <br />attempt to cover the cost of certified mail postage to notify the numerous property owners in accordance <br />with the ordinance. It was also generally agreed that the Community Development Office of the City of <br />Paris would prepare the letters of notification to affected property owners. No formal motion was put forth <br />on this item. <br /> <br />Item Seven: Mr. Ron Emrich of the Urban Prospects consulting firm was introduced to the group and <br />made a presentation on the historic preservation process that the Commission is embarking on. His <br />emphasis was to educate Commission members to be an effective historic preservation commission. He <br />also examined the public hearing process in detail. Mr. Emrich answered numerous questions during and <br />after his presentation. <br /> <br />Item Eight: Paul Denney made a motion that the meeting be adjourned.
