MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF
MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD
WEDNESDAY, November 19, 2003, 3:00 P.M.
50 WEST HICKORY STREET
1. Present Board Members:
Patsy Davis, Bailey Gant, Zach Saffle, David House, Cari
Johnson, Suzy Harper
Absent Board Members:
Barbara Wilson, Pike Burkhart Sr., Renee Harvey, Linda Suarez,
Karen Wilkerson
2. Discuss Streetscape Project/ Street Lighting: Lindsey Harper
handed out Streetscape specs. for the antique street lamps which
are to be installed during the project. More electricity will be on
hand to supply more lights on the plaza than in past years. Also, the concern of the community using the
dumpster for their personal trash disposal was brought up by
David House. Lindsey Harper reported that Trashy Business is
interested in picking up all the merchant's trash on the plaza but
the merchants still would be charged individually and a set
amount each month is not reasonable since every merchant has
different amounts of trash. Lindsey Harper is planning to meet
with a rep from Trashy Business in early December to explore
