City Manager Malone said the City <br />Council had been furnished a copy of the Local Control of Illegal Dumping by <br />John H. Ockels, Ph.D, and it has an article on the mountain of glass on Church <br />Street that Ms. McDonald has been pursuing. <br /> <br />City Attorney Schenk presented the following petitions for rezoning: Shirley <br />and Donna Swindle, Lots 11 ad 12. Block B, East Park Addition, from One <br />Family Dwelling District No. 3 to a Neighborhood Service District; Wanda <br />Whitaker, Lot 14, Block C, Lamesa Heights Addition, from a One-Family <br />Dwelling District No. 2 to a Neighborhood Service District. <br /> <br />Mayor Fendley referred the petitions to the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />for their study and recommendation at their meeting scheduled for January 5, <br />2004, and before the City Council scheduled for January 12, 2004. <br /> <br />There being no further business, a motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem <br />McCarthy, seconded by Councilwoman Neeley, to adjourn the meeting.
