15. <br /> <br />16. <br /> <br />January 12, 2004 <br /> Page 3 <br /> <br />Consideration of and action on the following ordinances: <br /> <br />Providing that the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris be amended <br />by revising Section 26-1 of said Code to authorize the staffing levels of <br />the Police Department. <br /> <br />Adopting a new Section 26-9 to Article I, Chapter 26 of the Code of <br />Ordinances, entitled Seniority Pay, establishing thereby a program of <br />Seniority Pay within the Paris Police Department for certified officers <br />below the rank of Chief based on years of service or rank in accordance <br />with Section 143.041 (c) 1 of the Local Government Code. <br /> <br />Consideration of and action on the following resolutions: <br /> <br />Affirming that the City of Paris has complied with the requirements of <br />the Public Funds Investment Act and amending the City's investment <br />policy. <br /> <br />Representing the City of Paris's continued support of the Regional <br />Controlled Substance Apprehension Program and the continuing <br />efforts of the Tri-County Drug Task Force to target illicit controlled <br />substances and organized criminal activity. <br /> <br />Authorizing the application for a Regional Controlled Substance <br />Apprehension Program grant from the Office of the Governor, Criminal <br />Justice Division for the Narcotics Task Force and authorizing the <br />execution of an Interlocal Agreement with the counties of Lamar and <br />Fannin and the City of Bonham. <br /> <br />Accepting the Texas State Library and Archives Commission Loan Star <br />Libraries Grant and authorizing the execution of Grant Agreement No. <br />442-04363. <br /> <br />Authorizing the execution of a purchase order for one (1) ambulance <br />through the Texas Local Government Purchasing Cooperative. <br /> <br />Amending Resolution No. 2003-176 to amend the application for a <br />Regional Solid Waste Grants Program Grant for fiscal year 2004 <br />through the Ark-Tex Council of Governments in cooperation with the <br />Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. <br /> <br /> <br />
