REGULAR MEETING <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />CITY OF PARIS — CITY HALL <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />THURSDAY, MARCH 20, 2014 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK PM <br />1. The Airport Advisory Board meeting was called to order by Billy Copeland, Chairman, at <br />5: 30 p. m. <br />A. The following members were present: Ray Ball, Billy Copeland, Dennis Ashby, <br />Jack Ashmore and William Tolleson <br />B. The following members were absent: Chris Fitzgerald and Phillip Payne <br />C. Also present was Shawn Napier, Airport Director; Jerry Richey, Airport Manager; <br />A.J. Hashmi, City Mayor; Ashley Fendley, City Staff, Lauren Corbell, Paris News: <br />and Jim Huddleston, Donnelly Huddleston Aviation. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. (February 20, 2014) <br />Motion was made by Ray Ball, seconded by Jack Ashmore to approve the meeting <br />minutes for February 20, 2014. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />3. Presentation by Jim Huddleston about Hangars. <br />Jim Huddleston, of Austin, Texas, presented to the Airport Advisory Board a proposal <br />from Donnelly Huddleston Aviation. Mr. Huddleston stated they are interested in buying <br />the City of Paris Hangars. He further stated that by doing this we can raise the rent and <br />build more hangars. Mayor Hashmi stated what happens once the property is in your <br />hands and you decide not to follow through on your end. Mr. Huddleston stated this <br />information would be covered in the lease agreement. The Airport Advisory Board had <br />concerns about the presentation and will discuss the proposal in the Thursday, April 17th <br />meeting. <br />4. Report from the Joint Sub - Committee with PEDC. <br />A. Discuss and create a list of positives and negatives about the Cox Field Airport. <br />Positives <br />• A Master Plan is being created to bring water and sewer services to Cox Field. <br />• Land available (see Master Plan map for locations and acreages) <br />
