A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2003-183 TO REFLECT THE CORRECT TERM EXPIRATION DATE OF CERTAIN MEMBERS OF THE AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 9th day of December, in Resolution No. 2002-174, reduce the membership of the Airport Advisory Board from nine (9) to seven (7) and additionally provide that each appointee to the Airport Advisory Board be appointed thereto for a two (2) year term; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 8th day of December, 2003, in Resolution No. 2003-183, appoint certain members to the Airport Advisory Board; and, WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 2003-186 was incorrect in that it provided for terms of three (3) years and the same requires correction; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble of this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That Resolution No. 2003-183, be, and the same is hereby, amended so that such shall read as follows: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the terms of office of Victor Abeles, Donald R. Morrell, James Proctor, and Vic Ressler, as members of the Airport Advisory Board of the City of Paris, will expire on December 31, 2003; and, WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the reappointment of Victor Abeles, Donald R. Morrell, James Proctor, and Vic Ressler for terms of two (2) years, beginning January 1, 2004, and ending December 31, 2005; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved.
