(d) Stage 3 Triggers — Severe Drought Conditions <br />(1) Requirements for initiation — Retail and wholesale water customers will be required to <br />comply with the requirements and restrictions on certain non - essential water uses <br />provided in Section 34 -158 of this Article for Stage 3 when any one of the following <br />triggering events exists: <br />a. When the water supply available to the City of Paris is equal to or less than <br />fifty percent (50 %) of the Conservation pool in Pat Mayse Lake and Lake <br />Crook combined; or <br />b. When total daily water demand equals or exceeds thirty -four (34) million <br />gallons for fourteen (14) consecutive days; or <br />C. When total daily water demand equals or exceeds thirty -six (36) million <br />gallons for six (6) consecutive days; or <br />d. When water production and /or distribution system limitations exist. <br />(2) Requirements for termination - Stage 3 of the Plan may be rescinded when all of the <br />conditions listed as triggering events have ceased to exist. Upon termination of <br />Stage 3, Stage 2 becomes operative. <br />(e) Stage 4 Triggers — Emergency Stage Conditions <br />(1) Requirements for initiation — Retail and wholesale water customers will be required <br />to comply with the requirements and restrictions on certain non - essential water uses <br />provided in Section 34 -158 of this Article for Stage 4 when any one of the following <br />triggering events exists: <br />a. When the water supply available to the City of Paris is equal to or less than <br />forty percent (40 %) of the Conservation pool in Pat Mayse Lake and Lake <br />Crook combined; or <br />b. When total daily water demand equals or exceeds thirty -five (35) million <br />gallons for twenty -one (2 1) consecutive days; or <br />C. When total daily water demand equals or exceeds thirty -six (36) million <br />gallons for nine (9) consecutive days; or <br />d. When major water production or distribution system limitations exist; or <br />e. When there is contamination, natural or man-made, of the water supply <br />source(s); or <br />Page 7 of 20 <br />
