Paris Public Library Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />April 16, 2014 <br />Opening: <br />The regular meeting of the Paris Public Library Advisory Board was called to order at 4:04 p.m. <br />Present: <br />Pat Books, Carol James, Fran Neeley, Ann Norment, Linda Vandiver, and director Priscilla McAnally <br />were present. Absent were Connie Dodd and Alice Woodard. <br />I. Approval of Minutes <br />The minutes of the previous meeting were unanimously approved as presented. <br />IL New Business: <br />It was announced that Reavis Wortham will be back in the library for a book <br />signing of his new book on Saturday, August 9 at 2 p.m. <br />The director will make a brief presentation to the City Council of the library's <br />FY 2013 and some future goals. <br />III. Old Business <br />IV. Presentations <br />A. Budget Report: <br />No unusual expenditures <br />B. Statistical Report: <br />Circulation was down by 2% and visits down by10% from March, 2013. <br />V. Friends of the Library <br />No report <br />VI. Director's Remarks: <br />The FY 2015 budget will be turned in to the City Manager by May 19. <br />Suly Meija started April 14 as the new part-time Clerk I. <br />The next meeting will be May 21. <br />Adjournment: <br />Meeting was adjourned at 4:45 p.m. <br />Submitted: <br />Priscilla McAnally <br />
