DRAFT <br /> <br />F:kAttorney\LisahO. esolutions\CURRENT\Traffic Commisson - 2-04.wpd <br /> January 29, 2004 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, REAPPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE TRAFFIC <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARIS, MAKING OTHER FINDINGS <br />AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING FOR <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the term of office of Edward D. Ellis, as a member of the Traffic Commission <br />of the City of Paris, expired on December 31, 2003; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the reappointment of <br />Edward D. Ellis for a term of three (3) years, beginning January 1, 2004, and ending December 31, <br />2006; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS. <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things <br />approved. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That Edward D. Ellis be, and he is hereby, reappointed to serve as a member of <br />the Traffic Commission of the City of Paris for a term of three (3) years, beginning January 1, 2004, <br />and ending December 31, 2006. <br /> <br />Section 3.
