MENTS <br /> <br />New Cities (in their first three years) receive: <br /> <br />First Lady's Tour <br /> <br />Resource Team visit and workbook <br /> <br />Free two-day Grant Writing Workshop (in the fLrst or second year) <br /> <br />~Jnl[mltert stattvlslts ~or: <br /> Board Training <br /> Strategic Planning <br /> Retail Merchandising/Window Displays <br /> Design Assistance <br /> Economic Development Assistance <br /> <br />Free manager training <br /> <br />Graduate cities (after their first three years) receive: <br /> <br />Main Street trainings (Graduate Manager training and Summer training). Note: If a new manager is hired by the city, the <br />city must pay for their training that year. <br /> <br />One on-site visit per year for: (telephone consultations are available): <br /> Board Training <br /> Strategic Planning <br /> Retail Merchandising/Window Displays <br /> Other <br /> <br />As of the 2003 Texas legislative session, graduate cities now receive design assistance from the Graduate Assistance <br />Program. <br /> <br />Economic dcvdopmcnt miatancc ¥iaita arc unlimir~O, <br />Scheduled on-site design assistance as well as telephone consultations are available to graduate cities. <br />Annually, ALL non-entidement dries (cannot be receiving Community Development Block Grant funds and have to be <br />under 50,000 population) are eligible to apply for the Texas Capital Fund (TCF) grant, wkich is administered through the <br />Texas Department of Agriculture for infrastructure improvements. Currently, self-initiated cities are not ehgible to apply <br />for &e TCF grant. <br /> <br />ALL cities are required to: <br />1. Attend two approved trainings per year (listed in your Letter of Agreement), <br /> <br />2. File monthly reports. <br /> <br />3. Report reinvestment figures quarterly. <br /> <br /> 4, Turn in a "Ten Criteria" report for your city. <br /> ALL cities receive take Mon£-12Iy-[J?dat:e Main Street newsletter and access to the Main Street listserve network, <br /> <br /> <br />
