Item Six: Action ~vas taken on six applications tbr Certificates of Appropriateness, The names aud <br />property addresses and tile action taken is as follows: <br /> <br />Jerry Raper- 134 South Main <br />Jcrry snbmittcd a design for a sign for 1 s buildiug Jerry is a member of the Historic <br />Preservation Commission and recuscd himself from discussion and voting on this item. <br />A motiou to approve the design of dlls sigu by was made by Barbara Wilson. Paul Deuuey <br />seconded tile motion and the ~notion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Bill Kirby - 136 Bonham Street <br />Bill snbmitted several items for approval. A motion :vas made to conditionally approve <br />these items with the condition that a visual image of the proposed roll-up door be <br />submitted lbr further review. This motion was made by Barbara Wilson. Becki Norment <br />seconded tile motion and the ~notion carried unanimonsly. <br /> <br />Lynn aud Ron Dickson - 366 Bouhaln Street <br />Lyno and Ron submitted items for approval. Phasing of proposed building ilnprovcmcnts <br />were made and color schemes were discussed. These items were approved conditionally. <br />It was agreed that the Dicksons would submit paint color selections at the next Commission <br />meeting. A motion to conditionally approve the Certificate of Appropriateness was made <br />by Barbara Wilson. Paul Denney seconded the motion and tile motion carries unanimously. <br /> <br />Clifton and Melissa Fendley - 554 S. Main <br /> Several items were submitted for approval. It was noted that this home was under the <br /> moratorium but action would be taken because of its adherence to fldl design review <br /> requirements. A motion for uuconditional approval was made by Barbara Wilson. The <br /> motion was seconded by Brian Wear and the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Michaella Baumgardner and Brenda K. Stayers - 101 Graud Avenue <br />All rcqucstcd items were approved except for Item #5. Item #5 would be addressed at the <br />next Commission meeting. A motion was made to approve Items #1, 2, 3, 4 & 6 was made <br />by Becki Norment. The motion was seconded by Jerry Raper and the motiou carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Linda Brown - 221 Bonham <br />Linda submitted a proposed design sketch for a facade-mounted sign for her property. <br />Paul Denney made a motion that the Certificate of Appropriateness be issued nnder <br />the following conditions: <br /> <br />I. Spelling is checked. <br />2. Sigu bottom lines with top of transom windows. <br />3. Tile sign is sealed with exterior grade varuish. <br />4.
