Item Six: Public relations and education programs were discussed. Mr. Tom Clark of Leeds-Clark <br />Restoration of Midlothian, Texas, has been contacted to give a window restoration seminar. The Main <br />Street Program Office will underwrite the event. Several programs sponsored by Preservation Dallas <br />were mentioned. <br />Item Seven: Preliminary boundaries of the Church Street and South Main Street historic district were <br />discussed. The following boundaries were proposed: <br />Sherman Street on the north <br />North side of Hearne Street on the south <br />S. Main Street to the West <br />Church Street to the East <br />Becki Norment made a motion to formally propose the above boundaries. Sue Lancaster seconded the <br />motion and the motion passed unanimously. <br />Item Eight: The following activities in the Downtown Historic District were noted: <br />1. The Vault nightclub was ready to open on the east side of the plaza. <br />2. The paint color on the Scott Building was repainted to a more appropriate color. <br />3. Various violations of the Preservation ordinance need addressing. <br />Item Nine: A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Sue Lancaster.
