<br />RESOLUTION NO. _______________
<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
<br />PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE BOARD OF
<br />ADJUSTMENT OF THE CITY OF PARIS; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS
<br />AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING FOR
<br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />WHEREAS,
<br /> the term of office of Bill Davidson, as alternate member of the Board of
<br />Adjustment of the City of Paris, expired on June 30, 2001; and,
<br />WHEREAS,
<br /> the terms of office of Edith Bills, Richard Nafe, Tammy Gantt, Toni Clem,
<br />and W. M. Lightfoot, as members of the Board of Adjustment of the City of Paris, expired on
<br />December 31, 2002; and,
<br />WHEREAS,
<br /> the term of office of Steve Glover, as alternate member of the Board of
<br />Adjustment of the City of Paris, will expire on June 30, 2003; and,
<br />WHEREAS
<br />, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the appointments
<br />of _____, _____, _____, _____, and _____ for terms of two (2) years, beginning January 1,
<br />2003, and ending December 31, 2004, and the appointments of _____ and _____, as alternate
<br />NOW,
<br />members, for terms of two years, beginning July 1, 2003, and ending June 30, 2005;
<br />THEREFORE,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
<br />TEXAS
<br />:
<br />Section 1.
<br /> That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all
<br />things approved.
<br />Section 2.
<br /> That _____, _____, _____, _____, and _____ be, and they are hereby,
<br />appointed to serve as members of the Board of Adjustment of the City of Paris for terms of two
<br />(2) years, beginning January 1, 2003, and ending December 31, 2004.
<br />Section 3.
<br /> That _____ and _____ be, and they are hereby, appointed to serve as alternate
<br />members of the Board of Adjustment of the City of Paris for terms of two (2) years, beginning
<br />July 1, 2003, and ending June 30, 2005.
<br />Section 4.
<br /> That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
