MINUTES <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY OF PARIS BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />CITY OF PARIS - CITY HALL <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />TUESDAY, JULY 1, 2014 <br />12:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The Board of Adjustment meeting was called to order by Nathan J. Bell V, Secretary, at <br />12: 00 p. m. <br />A. The following members were present: Nathan J. Bell V, Bryan Glass, David <br />Hamilton, Charles Richards and Marilyn Smith <br />B. The following members were absent: Rick Hundley and Jerry Harting <br />C. Also present was Joey Sleeper, Building Official and Ashley Fendley, City Staff. <br />2. Election of Officers: <br />A. Chairman — Motion was made by Bryan Glass, seconded by Charles Richards to <br />nominate Rick Hundley as Chairman. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />B. Vice - Chairman — Motion was made by Bryan Glass, seconded by Charles Richards <br />to nominate Jerry Harting as Vice - Chairman. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />C. Secretary — Motion was made by Bryan Glass, seconded by Charles Richards to <br />nominate Nathan J. Bell V as Secretary. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />3. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. (November 5, 2013) <br />Motion was made by Marilyn Smith, seconded by Bryan Glass to approve minutes for the <br />November 5, 2013 meeting. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />4. Public hearing and consideration of and action on the petition of Charles Trull to grant a <br />variance of Zoning Ordinance 1710, Section 9- 601(1) Schedule minimum side <br />yards- Residential districts, Five (5) Feet Required in Each Side Yard. The variance is to <br />allow minimum of three (3) feet in the side yard, on Lot 3, Block C of the Kaywood Village <br />Addition, being located at 50 S. W. 46th Street. <br />Public hearing was declared open. <br />A. No one spoke in favor of the petition. <br />
