<br />HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF PARIS <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING <br />100 GEORGE WRIGHT HOMES <br />April 29, 2004 <br />12:30 p.m. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />Chairman Jeff Hoog called the meeting to order as 12:40 p.m. with the following Board <br />members present: Lillian Brooks, Kathleen Edge, Rick Poston, and Annette Grant. Also <br />attending was Executive Director Denny Head, Assistant Director Sally Gibson, and Legal <br />Council T.K. Haynes. <br /> <br />Chairman Jeff Hoog asked for a motion to accept the minutes from the March 16, 2004 board of <br />commissioners meeting. Motion was made by Rick Poston and seconded by Annette Grant. <br />Motion was unanimous 5-0. <br /> <br />Item 2004-028- Approve 5 Year Plan- <br />Executive Director Denny Head informed the board that <br />the Paris Housing Authority is obligated to submit a 5 Year Plan to the Department of Housing <br />and Urban Development. Denny informed the board that the 5 Year Plan was to be approved by <br />the board of commissioners. Motion was made to accept 5 Year Plan by Annette Grant and <br />seconded by Lillian Brooks. Vote was unanimous 5-0. <br /> <br />Item 2004-029 Bad Debt Write Off’s. <br /> Denny informed the board that each year-end the Paris <br />Housing Authority is to write off all bad debts that are deemed un-collectable. The bad debt <br />write off this year is in the amount of $42,638.74. Motion was made to accept write off amount <br />by Rick Poston and seconded by Kathleen Edge. Vote was unanimous 5-0. <br /> <br />Chairman Jeff Hoog asked if there was any further business and there being none asked for a <br />motion to adjourn the meeting. Motion was made by and Rick Poston seconded by Kathleen <br />Edge.
