A RESOLUTION OF THE COLTNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING CHANGE OF COUNCIL MEETING DATE; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, in order to adhere to State Bar regulations regarding Continuing Legal Education, the City Attorney and Assistant City Attorney are required to attend the Texas City Attorney Association Conference scheduled for June 9-11, 2004, which conflicts with the regularly scheduled City Council meeting on Thursday, June 10, 2004; and, WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that the regular Thursday meeting of the City Council scheduled for June 10, 2004, be consolidated with the regular Monday meeting which is scheduled for June 14, 2004; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COLTNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble of this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That the regular Thursday meeting of the City Council scheduled for June 10, 2004, be, and the same is hereby, rescheduled for Monday, June 14, 2004, at 6:00 o'clock P.M. Section 3. That a copy of this Resolution be placed on the City Ha11 Bulletin Board giving notice of the rescheduling of the regular Thursday, June 10, 2004 Council meeting, and that the news media be informed of the rescheduled date in the same manner they are informed of emergency City Council meetings. Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage. PASSED AND APPROVED this lOth day of May, 2004.
