EMPLOYEE UNIFORMS CONTRACT <br /> <br />STATE OF TEXAS <br /> KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: <br />COUNTY OF LAMAR } <br /> <br /> THAT, the CITY OF PARIS, Paris, Texas, a municipal corporation, acting by and through <br />its Mayor, Curtis Fendley, duly authorized, hereinafter called CITY, and G & K SERVICES, by and <br />through its Account Manager, Tiros Frazier, 603 Airline Drive, Coppell, Texas 75019, hereinafter <br />called G & K, do hereby contract and agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. G&K will furnish and service used uniforms on a weekly basis, replace lost or <br /> <br />damaged garments, including name plate and City emblem and preparation for new employees. <br /> <br /> 2. G&K will pick up and deliver at the following locations in the City of Paris: 1) Water <br /> <br />Treatment Plant, 2) Wastewater Plant, 3) Wise Field, 4) City Hall Annex, 5) Water Billing Office, and <br />6) Department of Public Works, said locations subject to change to best serve the employees of <br />CITY. <br /> <br /> 3. The term of this contract is for a period of two (2) years beginning July 19, 2004, and <br /> <br />ending July 18, 2006. CITY shall reserve the right to terminate the contract at any time due to non- <br />performance or poor service by G&K. However, CITY has the right to exercise an option for an <br />additional one (1) year upon the same terms and conditions, which year would begin July 19, 2006, <br />and end on July 18, 2007. <br /> <br /> 4. G&K will furnish monthly invoices for services rendered in accordance with the <br /> <br />"Invitation to Bid for Furnishing and Servicing Employee Uniforms for Various City Departments, <br />The City of Paris, Paris, Texas 75460, March, 2004," attached hereto as Exhibit A, and G&K's bids, <br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br /> <br />
