Lisa Wright reported that City staff have been researching the
area requested by Novaro Nichols and are attempting to determine if there are
adequate utilities available. Also, the area requested is currently leased to
Carey Eatherly and Agpro and there are no roads leading to the area. The
Airport Director advised she did not believe the City would have funds to
install any utilities or access roads to the area, so Mr. Nichols would most
likely have to cover all those expenses. The Board discussed the possibility
of contacting the lessees to ask if they would be willing to give up parts of
their leases. Mr. Chapman stated he knew someone who could go to Tara
Field and take a look at the museum. The Board stated they would like to
know what Mr. Nichols is willing to do to make the deal work.
