Rebecca Clifford made the motion to table this item; seconded by John Brockman. Motion Carried 5 -0. Discuss and possibly take action on invoice(s) for legal services from Jeff Moore, Attorney, Brown & Hofineister, LLP David Turner made a motion to pay the invoices, as submitted; seconded by Don Wilson. Motion Carried 5 -0. Discuss and possibly take action on "next steps" pertaining to the search for an Executive Director — Stephen Grubbs Stephen Grubbs asked the Board if it was a good time to pursue an Executive Director? We want the best candidate, does PEDC want to continue the search or postpone the search? David Turner made a motion to put the search for an executive director on hold until the beginning of the year. Due to the current politics an applicant withdrew because of what he read in the paper. Have Mrs. Barrentine continue as Interim Executive Director; seconded by John Brockman. Motion Carried 5 -0. The Board convened into Executive Session at 4:54 p.m. Pursuant to Section 551.072, 551.074 and Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code to discuss and deliberate on the following: 1. Pursuant to Section 551.072 — Real Property 2. Pursuant to Section 551.074 — Personnel 3. Pursuant to Section 551.087 — Economic Development Negotiations Executive Session ended at 5:53p.m. The Board reconvened into open session. As a result of executive session discussion the Board took no action. David Turner made a motion to adjourn 5:55p.m.; seconded by Rebecca Clifford. Motion Carried 5 -0.
