PEDC Board Meeting Minutes <br />October 14, 2014 <br />Page 7 of 7 <br />Discuss and possibly take action on addition to PEDC policy manual of non - solicitation <br />clause for PEDC personnel — Rebecca Clifford <br />John Godwin will bring the document to the next Board meeting. Rebecca Clifford made the <br />motion to table this item; seconded by John Brockman. Motion Carried 5 -0. <br />Discuss and possibly take action on invoice(s) for legal services from Jeff Moore, Attorney, <br />Brown & Hofineister, LLP <br />David Turner made a motion to pay the invoices, as submitted; seconded by Don Wilson. <br />Motion Carried 5 -0. <br />Discuss and possibly take action on "next steps" pertaining to the search for an Executive <br />Director — Stephen Grubbs <br />Stephen Grubbs asked the Board if it was a good time to pursue an Executive Director? We <br />want the best candidate, does PEDC want to continue the search or postpone the search? David <br />Turner made a motion to put the search for an executive director on hold until the beginning of <br />the year. Due to the current politics an applicant withdrew because of what he read in the paper. <br />Have Mrs. Barrentine continue as Interim Executive Director; seconded by John Brockman. <br />Motion Carried 5 -0. <br />The Board convened into Executive Session at 4:54 p.m. Pursuant to Section 551.072, <br />551.074 and Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code to discuss and deliberate on the <br />following: <br />1. Pursuant to Section 551.072 — Real Property <br />2. Pursuant to Section 551.074 — Personnel <br />3. Pursuant to Section 551.087 — Economic Development Negotiations <br />Executive Session ended at 5:53p.m. The Board reconvened into open session.
