MINUTES TRAFFIC COMMISSION Tuesday, September 5, 2000 5:15 o'clock P.M. Municipal Court Room - 811 Bonham Street Paris, Texas The Traffic Commission met in regular session Tuesday, September 5, 2000 with the following members present: 1. Charles Thompson 4. Edward Ellis 2. Mary Lane 5. Ricky Mackey 3. Cleo Holmes 6. John Gooding The city staff was represented by Assistant Police Chief James Barnett. Chairman George Robinson and Co -chair Kenneth Webb being absent the meeting was called to order by James Barnett. Mary Lane nominated John Gooding to serve as Acting Chairman. Ed Ellis seconded the nomination. There being no further nominations John Gooding was elected 5 ayes to 0 nays with Ricky Mackey not yet being present. The Minutes of the August 1, 2000 meeting were approved as submitted. Ricky Mackey came in. Requests for Stop Signs at the following locations were considered: 1. NE 12t1i Street at E. Grove Street stopping North bound traffic on NE 12tH. 2. NE 13" Street at E. Tudor Street stopping North and South bound traffic on NE 13tH. 3. Belmont Street at NE 13t' Street stopping East and West bound traffic on Belmont. 4. Fairfax Avenue at NE 13t'' Street stopping East and West bound traffic on Fairfax. 5. NE 13t' Street at E. Grove stopping North bound traffic on NE 13t1 Street. 6. Enchanted Drive at NE 42"`' Street stopping East and West bound traffic on Enchanted. 7. Quail Drive at NE 42"`' Street stopping East and West bound traffic on Quail Drive. 8. Eastridge Street at NE 42 "' Street stopping East bound traffic on Eastridge. 9. Sunrise Drive at NE 42 "`' Street stopping East and West bound traffic on Sunrise.
