It has come to our attention that in some instances where St. Joseph's Hospital is the closest hospital, special directional signs would assist individuals in finding our hospital. Therefore, we are asking permission to mount signs that would be purchased by St. Joseph's Hospital and Health Center and would meet the signing guidelines, rules and regulations of the State Department of Highways. In an effort to keep the number of sign supports to a minimum along our city streets, we are also requesting that we be allowed to mount these signs on existing State and City pipe supports. The locations, types of signs, and existing sign supports on which we wish to mount our signs are as follows: 1. On Business Highway 82/Lamar St, facing east a. Hospital and directional sign mounted on the State Highway Sign between the 271 Loop and 35th street N.E. on the north side of Lamar. b. Hospital and directional sign mounted on the City speed limit sign just past 27th street N.E. on the north side of Lamar. c. Hospital and directional sign mounted on either the City speed limit sign or State Highway sign between 19th and 20th streets N.E. on the north side of Lamar. d. Large H and directional sign mounted on the State Highway sign just past 8th street S.E. on the south side of Lamar. 2. On Business Highway 271 /Clarksville St. facing southeast. a. Hospital and directional sign mounted on the State Highway sign at the turnoff for Business Highway 271 /Clarksville Street on the north side of Clarksville. b. Hospital and Directional sign mounted on the City speed limit sign just before Collegiate street on the north side of Clarksville. c. Large H mounted on the City speed limit sign between 21st S.E. and Crockett streets on the north side of Clarksville.
