PAGE 2 <br />LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD 07/19/00 MINUTES <br />Ms. Lewis advised the NETLS Lay Representatives' terms were up and upon motion by <br />Curtis Fendley, second by Nancee Salzman, the Board unanimously approved John <br />Howison to remain as Lay Representative and Fran Neeley to be appointed as Alternate <br />Lay Representative. <br />Chairman Alsobrook advised the Board had received a thank you note and call of <br />appreciation from Virginia Gibbs. <br />Ms. Lewis said award winning Dallas storyteller Elizabeth Ellis presented a program in <br />Blossom this morning for the Mobile Library patrons and one in the Gallery this <br />afternoon for Summer Reading Club attendees. There was no charge for these excellent <br />programs because Ms. Lewis had "won" Ms. Ellis for a day in a raffle held at the Texas <br />Library Association's spring conference. <br />The meeting adjourned at 5 PM. <br />Beverly Lewis, Acting Secretary Approved <br />
