Page 5 <br />W &S Rate Study Committee <br />Minutes 8/22/91 <br />Mr. Reed next showed a comparison for surrounding cities, stating that <br />the City of Paris is not the highest or lowest, by comparison wise, but <br />is in the middle for water and sewer rates. <br />Mr. Reed stated that the last page is a contract rate comparison of the <br />present rates to the proposed 1991 -92 rates showing the percentage of <br />change. <br />After a considerable amount of discussion with Mr. Reed and the <br />audience, a motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by <br />Councilman Fisher to recommend to the City Council to approve the water <br />and sewer rates as presented by Reed -Stowe Company.
