� MINUTES <br />WORK SESSION <br />LAKE PAT MAYSE STUDY COMMITTEE <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />THURSDAY, APRIL 30, 2009 <br />1. Call the meeting to order. <br />Chairman Hayter called the meeting to order at 4:03 p.m. <br />2. Committee member roll call. <br />City Engineer Shawn Napier called roll. <br />Members present were Dennis Chalaire, Reeves Hayter, John Kruntorad, Gene McWaters, <br />Sharron Nabors, Jim Noble, Richard Quarles and Dan Smith. Ex- Officio Members present were <br />Frank Wright, Ray Ball and Bob Campbell. Member absent was Michael Moffitt. Ex- Officio <br />Members absent were Bryon Billman, Renee Harvey and Jiro Kays. Alternate Member absent was <br />Joan Mathis. <br />Also, present were city staff Shawn Napier, City Engineer; Doug Harris, Utilities Director; <br />John McFadden; Pike Burkhart; David Nabors; Pete Kampfer; PEDC, and Charles Richards, Paris <br />News. <br />Quorum announced. <br />3. Approval of minutes from previous meeting. (April 2, 2009) <br />Motion was made by Gene McWaters, seconded by Jim Noble to approve the minutes for <br />the March 19, 2009 meeting. Motion carried unanimously. <br />4. Citizens forum. <br />No one spoke. <br />Discussion and possible action on drafting a recormnendation to City Council. <br />To the City Council, Note 5: Clarification to be added noting that the Lamar Power <br />Partner Volume of 7 mg is untreated water. Note added showing City of Paris Volume of <br />5.66 mg is derived by subtracting all other peak day usages from the peak day total <br />consumption. Explanation was provided regarding projected use in 2020, 2040 and 2060 <br />that it was based on 0.6 gallons per minute /meter as required by TCEQ. Add Campbell <br />Soup peak day of 6.07 mgd to explanation noting Campbell Soup largest daily average of <br />-- 4.1 mgd. Direct Energy information was corrected from raw water to treated water. <br />
