Engineering opinion on safe yield <br />possibly available from this source by the November 13`h meeting instead of the Octoberl6th <br />meeting. <br />John Kruntorad inquired if the information from Jim Matthews would be made available to <br />the Corp of Engineers and Shawn Napier answered in the affirmative. Mr. Kruntorad asked about <br />the fees for HDR. Mr. Napier said the current spreadsheet reflected HDR' fees would be <br />approximately $133,000.00, but that there were some items that would be coming off of that list. <br />He estimated HDR's fees would come in under $100,000.00 and said that anything over $75,000.00 <br />would have to go back to Council for approval. <br />6. Review and discuss section 15 of the briefing book. <br />Chairman Hayter referred the Committee to the Chart prepared by Herb Campbell. (See <br />Exhibit "A" attached and incorporated herein) Chairman Hayter reminded the Committee that the <br />figures were based on averages. <br />Next, the Committee discussed data from the Corps of Engineer reflecting intake and <br />outflow. Herb Campbell said there were physical means to keep the water from going over the <br />overflow. Chairman Hayter said the contract did not allow for storage over 451 feet, but that the <br />contract could be amended. <br />7. Review budgets for consultants. <br />Shawn Napier went over the budget for the consultants (See Exhibit "B" attached and <br />incorporated herein) Chairman Hayter inquired if Shawn had suggested work items that could be <br />deleted and Mr. Napier said there were items in task 3 that could be taken out. <br />8. Receive questions for the U.S. Corps of Engineers. <br />Chairman Hayter reminded the Committee to submit their questions to Shawn Napier for the <br />July 10`h meeting. <br />9. Possible future agenda items. <br />Herb Campbell asked that Mr. Napier provided an overlay of Pat Mayse Lake and Cooper <br />Lake reflecting normal pool elevations. Shawn referred the Committee to the briefing book <br />reflecting Cooper Lake elevations during the drought. Dan Smith wanted to know how much water <br />Irving took out of Cooper Lake on a daily basis. Mr. Napier referred the Committee to section 12 <br />of the briefing book. <br />Chairman Hayter said they would hear from the Corps of Engineers on July 10`h and should <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
