MINUTES <br />WORK SESSION <br />LAKE PAT MAYSE STUDY COMMITTEE <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 4 2008 <br />1. Call the meeting to order. <br />Chairman Hayter called the meeting to order at 4:10 p.m. <br />2. Committee member roll call. <br />City Engineer Shawn Napier called roll. <br />Members present were Herb Campbell, Dennis Chalaire, Reeves Hayter, John R. Kruntorad, <br />Rick McDougall, Gene McWaters, Sharron Nabors, Jim Noble, Richard Quarles and Dan Smith. <br />Ex- Officio Members present were Renee Harvey, Jim Kays, Frank Wright, Ray Ball and Bob <br />Campbell. Members absent were Michael Moffitt. Ex- Officio Member Bryon Billman was absent <br />and Alternate Member Joan Mathis was absent. <br />Also, present were city staff Shawn Napier, City Engineer; and Doug Harris, Utilities <br />Director. <br />3. Approval of minutes from previous meeting. (August 7, 2008) <br />A Motion to approve the minutes was made by John Kruntorad and seconded by Rick <br />McDougall, motion carried unanimously. <br />4. Citizens forum. <br />No one spoke. <br />5. Presentation from Pete Kampfer. <br />Chairman Hayter announced that Pete Kampfer would not be giving his presentation. <br />6. Discussion and possible action on future water demands. <br />Members discussed the population of Lamar County Water Supply District service area <br />(population projections); further discussed new lakes being proposed in our immediate area. <br />7. Review and discuss the Texas Water Development Board Report on the hydrographic survey <br />of Pat Mayse Lake. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
