MINUTES <br />WORK SESSION <br />LAKE PAT MAYSE STUDY COMMITTEE <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />THURSDAY, JANUARY 8, 2009 <br />1. Call the meeting to order. <br />Chairman Hayter called the meeting to order at 4:08 p.m. <br />2. Committee member roll call. <br />City Engineer Shawn Napier called roll. <br />Members present were Dennis Chalaire, Reeves Hayter, Gene McWaters, Sharron Nabors, <br />Jim Noble, Richard Quarles and Dan Smith. Ex- Officio Members present were Jim Kays, Frank <br />Wright, Ray Ball, and Bob Campbell. Members absent were Herb Campbell, and Michael <br />Moffitt. Ex- Officio Members absent were Bryon Billman. Alternate Member absent was Joan <br />Mathis. <br />Also, present were city staff Shawn Napier, City Engineer; Doug Harris, Utilities Director; <br />Shannon Barrantine, Chamber of Commerce; David Nabors; Mike Tibbetts, Hayter and Charles <br />Richards, Paris News. <br />3. Approval of minutes from previous meeting. (December 11, 2008) <br />A Motion to approve the minutes was made by Dan Smith, and seconded by Sharron <br />Nabors. Motion carried unanimously. Committee members asked Charles Richards to type <br />minutes from his tape recording for the January 08, 2009 meeting. (See attached) <br />Announced Rick McDougall resigned due to business constraints. <br />4. Citizens forum. <br />No one spoke. <br />5. Discussion and possible action on the power point presentation to the public. <br />Dennis Chalaire discussed the power point presentation for the public. The presentation is <br />down to a total of thirteen slides. Bob Campbell discussed adding peak day information. <br />6. Review budget information. <br />Budget amounts provided by Shawn Napier. <br />
