PARIS -LAMAR COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH <br />MINUTES OF MEETING <br />The Paris -Lamar County Board of Health held its regular <br />meeting on Tuesday, March 22, 1994, at the Holiday Inn. <br />Members present included Dr. Moseley, Dr. Strom, Dr. <br />Brock, Dr. Kraft, Rev. Evans, and Mrs. Norment. Others in <br />attendance included T.K. Haynes, Mike Malone, Gene <br />Anderson, Troy Owens, Alan Weatherford, Latricia Miller, <br />Gary Gunder, Mike Norby, Evelyn Freeman, Julie Maddox, <br />Anthony Bethel, Bob Ricks, and Barbra Francis. <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:10 am, and the <br />minutes from the previous meeting were read and approved. <br />Mr. Norby presented a partial proposed fee schedule for <br />the Health Department, and said that he should have a <br />completed fee schedule to be proposed at the next regular <br />scheduled meeting. <br />Dr. Strom stated he felt that the Health Department needed <br />to have a formal resignation from Dr. Beachley before <br />taking any further action on the status of the Medical <br />Director for the Health Department. Ms. Maddox discussed <br />the role of the Medical Director at the Rural Health <br />Clinic. <br />Under discussion of the proposed Rural Health Clinic, Ms. <br />Maddox presented a review of operations at the Health <br />Department, a copy of which is attached to these minutes. <br />After discussion, Dr. Strom made a motion that was <br />seconded by Dr. Kraft that the Board proceed with the <br />establishment of a Rural Health Clinic for Lamar County, <br />and that the hospitals proceed with the application <br />process. <br />The next meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, April 19, <br />1994, at 7:00 am, at the Holiday Inn. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Bob Ricks <br />Approved by Dr. Moseley <br />
