PARIS -LAMAR COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />MINUTES OF MEETING <br />The Paris -Lamar County Board of Health held a special <br />meeting on duly 18th, at the Holiday Inn. Board members <br />in attendance included Dr. Robert Moseley, Dr. David <br />Brock, Dr. Bert Strom, Rev. Samuel Evans, Mrs. Ann <br />Norment, and Mrs. Frances Ellis. Others in attendance <br />included Bob Ricks, Mike Malone, and T.K. Haynes. <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:26 am, and went into <br />executive session. The meeting came out of executive <br />session at 8:00 am, and went into open session. <br />Dr. Strom made a motion that was seconded by Dr. Brock <br />that the Board establish a peer review system to review <br />medical records, the physician, and patient surveys on a <br />quarterly basis to determine the effectiveness of care <br />given at the Health Department. The motion passed. <br />Dr. Strom made a motion that was seconded by Dr. Brock <br />that the Board recommend that a contract be drawn up with <br />Dr. Bill Woodruff to be the Medical Director at the <br />Paris -Lamar County Health Department. The motion passed. <br />Dr. Strom made a motion that was seconded by Rev. Evans <br />that the Board recommend that Carrie Thompson be appointed <br />as the Administrator of the Rural Health Clinic.
