Faris — Lamar County Jfealth Department <br />400 West Sherman Street <br />Paris, Texas 75460 <br />Voice: 903 - 785 -4561 <br />Front Office Fax: 903 - 737 -0978 Nurse's Fax: 903 - 737 -9924 <br />www.parislamarhealth.com <br />SIGNED MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING <br />OF THE PARIS -LAMAR COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT <br />ON NOVEMBER 13th, 2012 <br />The Paris -Lamar County Health Department held a special meeting at 6:00 p.m. on <br />Tuesday, November 13th, 2012 at the Paris -Lamar County Health Department. <br />Board members in attendance included Dr. Rick Erickson, Dr. Keith House, Ms. Kristi <br />Martin, Dr. William George, Dr. Mark Gibbons, and Mr. Bill Strathern. Dr. Lav Singh was <br />not in attendance. Mrs. Gina Prestridge, Paris -Lamar County Health Department Executive <br />Director, and Mr. Warren Spencer, Legal Counsel from Maris and Lanier, also attended the <br />board meeting. <br />Meeting was called to order at 6:10 p.m. by Dr. Erickson. <br />Dr. George made the motion and was seconded by Dr. Gibbons that the minutes of the <br />October 4th, 2012 meeting be approved and Dr. House made the motion and was seconded <br />by Dr. Gibbons thatthe minutes of the October 23rd, 2012 meeting be approved. <br />Mrs. Prestridge updated the board regarding the purchase of the building located at 400 <br />West Sherman Street, Paris, Texas, and about the submittal of a proposal for the 1115 <br />Waiver. Paris -Lamar County Health Department was notified they passed the 1115 Waiver <br />Level 1, so they may be eligible for up to $300,000. <br />The Paris -Lamar County Board of Health members convened into executive session at <br />6:18 p.m. to receive legal counsel about pending litigation on Cause # 81106, 62nd <br />District Count, Lamar County, Texas: Cecelia Kane vs. Paris -Lamar County Health <br />Department and Anthony Bethel. <br />Dr. Erickson made the motion and was seconded by Ms. Martin that they reconvene into <br />open session at 6:28 p.m. <br />1 <br />
