The Executive Director shall prepare an annual budget for the district and shall submit same to the Board for review, approval and action no less than 120 days prior to the beginning of a new fiscal year. A copy of the District's annual budget shall be submitted to Lamar County and the City of Paris at the same time it is presented to the Board of Directors of the Paris -Lamar County Health District. The Health District's annual request for funding will be considered by the Lamar County Commissioners and Paris City Council through their separate budget processes. In the event that revenues from 7.3 and 7.4 above are not sufficient to cover the Paris -Lamar County Health District expenditures as outlined in the approved annual budget, the City of Paris and Lamar County will each pay 50% of the monies needed to cover the revenue shortfall.
