Paris Public Library Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />March 26, 2014 <br />Opening: <br />The regular meeting of the Paris Public Library Advisory Board was called to order at 4:05 p.m. <br />Present: <br />Pat Books, Connie Dodd, Fran Neeley, Ann Norment, Linda Vandiver, and director Priscilla <br />McAnally were present. Absent were Connie Dodd, Carol James, and Alice Woodard. <br />I. Approval of Minutes <br />The minutes of the previous meeting were unanimously approved as presented. <br />II. New Business: <br />It was announced that Carol James was appointed to fill the unexpired term of <br />Judith Kimbrough. <br />A revision to the board's by -laws including the months of the start and end of <br />terms was approved. <br />III. Old Business <br />IV. Presentations <br />A. Budget Report: <br />No unusual expenditures <br />B. Statistical Report: <br />Circulation was down by 6.6% and visits were down by 16.6%. <br />V. Friends of the Library <br />No report <br />VI. Director's Remarks: <br />Music streaming has been added to the Freegal Music service provided by the library. <br />Patrons will be able to stream music to their devices 24 hours a day. <br />The next meeting will be April 16. <br />Adjournment: <br />Meeting was adjourned at 4:25 p.m. <br />Sub* <br />Priscilla McAnally <br />
