MINUTES <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />7:15 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 1979 <br />CITY HALL <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />The Airport Advisory Board met in regular session at City Hall, Tuesday, <br />November 27, 1979 at 7:15 P.M. with the following board members present: <br />1. Rick Rex - Chairman <br />2. James Moseley <br />Others present: <br />1. Bob Wright <br />2. Pat Wright <br />3. Cecil Huneycutt <br />4. Ms. Cecil Huneycutt <br />5. Philip Whitaker <br />6. Perry McMichael <br />3. Joann Ondrovik - Secretary <br />4. T.D. Mallison <br />7. Bill Clarke <br />3. Jim Collier, Airport Manager <br />9. Don Whitaker <br />10. Jim Wrenn <br />11. Phil Arnold, KPRE Reporter <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Rex and the minutes were <br />approved as read, with one change; the Board met at City Hall, not <br />Cox Field. <br />Old Business: <br />1. Progress report on T- Hangars, ramps, and taxiways. <br />Jim Collier reported that T- Hangars have been completed; but that ramps <br />and taxiways are on hold due to equipment breakdowns. Buster Construc- <br />tion, according to Mr. Collier, assured the board that the work would <br />be resumed immediately. <br />New Business: <br />1. Annual review of commercial operators' permits. <br />A. The following permits were discussed: <br />1. Aero Dust & Spray - temporary permit. <br />(a) Pilot training <br />(b) Agricultural operations <br />(c) Air -frame and power plant maintenance <br />2, PParis Flight Center - flight training <br />3. James Howell - agricultural operations <br />Mr. Moseley made a motion that the Airport Board recommend that the <br />City Council approve these permits with the understanding that Aero <br />Dust & Spray receive a temporary permit for the maintenance function, <br />until they can fully comply with requirements for a full permit. Mr. <br />Mallison seconded the motion, and it carried 4 -0. <br />B. The need for a permit application from Metro Airlines was dis- <br />discussed and referred to City Manager, Bob Sokoll, for review at the <br />next Airport Board meeting. <br />
