Charlie Walker <br />The meeting was called to order by Chalytian Miallory and Vie Minutes of <br />October 23, 1975 were approved as written. <br />The only item on the agenda was 1 he petition of JIrs. J. S. Lilley for a <br />variance to Zoning Ordinance No. 1710, Section 9­601 , Side Yard Require- <br />ments on part of Lots 11 and 12, Block 1, Aw'E'ta Park, located on the north- <br />west corner of 19th S.E. and Maraarec"., S1T3-__at,, <br />Mrs. Lilley was present and stated he- need to place a cairport, 2 feet <br />from the side property line instead of Ithe requleled 5 -Feet. She said it <br />was the most deli: place 17or It- as it would be ooer an 1�,xisting <br />driveway and to move it further from the Une *wrould require her to enter <br />and e,,: Jt her property at an angle. Sho further statled that the support <br />posts for the carport were alaready In p7aace In --onwretie and -it would be a <br />big Job to move them. <br />Discussion followed with Mr, Walker 'AcTiting tha- in this Ulea9 many gar- <br />ages and carports had been 1bu-111t alsose 'to -he 11ne. <br />There was no one present opposing the -r�quest and following discussion, <br />Mr. McKinney made a motion to approve the variance.
