MINUTES OF THE <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />NOVEMBER 23, 1987 <br />The Board of Adjustment of the City of Paris met in a called meeting Monday, <br />November 23, 1987, at 5:15 P.M. in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas, <br />with the following members present: <br />1. F.D. Mallory III - Chairman <br />2. Bill Lightfoot <br />3. Richard Nafe <br />4. J.P. Shull <br />5. John W. Williams, Jr. <br />Chairman Mallory opened the public hearing on the petition of Vicki Woolston <br />for a variance to Section 9 -501 (1) of the City of Paris Zoning Ordinance on <br />Lot 8, Block A, Byers Addition, located at 1434 Margaret Street. <br />Ms. Woolston told the Board that she would like to build an enclosed garage <br />on the front of her house that would be 20 feet from the front property line <br />instead of the required 25 feet. <br />She said it would be frame construction with a flat roof. <br />No one else was present to speak for or against the petition and the public <br />hearing was closed. <br />The Board members discussed the matter and felt it would not be detrimental <br />to the neighborhood. <br />A motion was made by Mr. Williams, seconded by Mr. Nafe, to grant the variance. <br />The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />There being no further business to consider, the meeting was adjourned. <br />ecreteN McCollum <br />ary - ex- officio <br />JNM:dep <br />
