M E M O R A N D U M <br />TO BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />FROM DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />SUBJECT AGENDA ITEM FOR MAY 5, 1988 <br />Mrs. Clarence Smith, 2895 Mahaffey, was denied a building permit to <br />construct an 18' x 20' carport on the front of her home on April 11, <br />1988. <br />The proposed carport would be 11 feet from the front property line <br />instead of the 30 feet required by the Zoning Ordinance and the <br />plat of Johnson Woods Estates. <br />This would be 21 feet from the curb of Mahaffey and is proposed as an <br />open carport. <br />I did not notice any similar variances in the neighborhood. <br />Thank you. <br />k e N.
