REPORT OF MEETING OF
<br />BUILDING HAZARD INSPECTION COMMITTEE
<br />The Building Hazard Inspection Committee met at 10:00 o'clock A.M., December 13, 1996,
<br />in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas. Present were Chairman Steve Metllven and Committee
<br />members Steve Burgin and Earl Smith. Also present were Code Enforcement Officer, Mike Alexander;
<br />and Legal Secretary, Alice Pinalto.
<br />The meeting was called to order by the Chairman and the following properties were discussed:
<br />1. 740 3rd Street N.E. Woods, Newton
<br />Pt. Lot 5 & 7, City Block 75 c/o Ethelda W. Pleasent

<br />Austin, TX 78702
<br />A picture was introduced of same, not within fire limits, wood frame construction, and vacant.
<br />The house is in need of major repair to windows, foundation, flooring, exterior walls and roof, and in
<br />need of minor repairs to general wiring condition, electric outlets and plumbing. Ethelda W. Pleasent,
<br />owner, appeared. Earl Smith made a motion that 30 days be given to commence making necessary
<br />repairs, with 90 days to complete repairs or demolish and remove, Steve Burgin seconded, passed 3 -0.

<br />owner. Earl Smith made a motion to declare dilapidated and order removed within 30 days, Steve
<br />Burgin seconded, passed 3 -0.

<br />Johnnie Crussel, owner, appeared. Earl Smith made a motion that 30 days be given to commence
<br />making necessary repairs, with 90 days to complete repairs or demolish and remove, Steve Methven
<br />seconded, passed 3 -0.

<br />owner. Earl Smith made a motion to declare dilapidated and order removed within 30 days, Steve
