4. Discuss procedures concerning issuance of building permits on condemned <br />structures. <br />(1) Example: 47 NW 9th and 933 Connor. They had 30 days demo order put <br />on them. The owner came in and wanted permits to repair the structures and <br />Robert Talley let them pull the permits. After the permits were done the owner <br />didn't repair the properties correctly and we had to pull the permits and place a <br />stop work order on the properties. Do you want the structure to come back to BSC <br />or do you want Robert to handle the releasing and issuing permits? After much <br />discussion it was the majority that Robert Talley bring the properties back to BSC <br />and that this should be taken to the City Council for clear guidelines so the <br />Commission will have a consistent procedure. <br />(2) There always needs to be an updated Code Enforcement property list <br />attached to the BSC packets. <br />5. Future agenda items. <br />(1) Next meeting February 18, 2013. <br />6. Adjournment <br />Motion was made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Vicky Ballard to adjourn <br />the meeting at 4:13pm.
