Public Hearing to consider the petition of the City of Paris for a change in zoning from Agricultural District (A) to Commercial District (C), Lot 2, City Block 322, being number 1625 N.E. Loop 286. The public hearing was declared open. Earl Smith, City Engineer, spoke in favor of the zoning request stating land is involved in land trade. There was no opposition, the public meeting was declared closed. 13. Consideration of and action on the petition of the City of Paris for a change in zoning from Agricultural District (A) to Commercial District (C), Lot 2, City Block 322, being number 1625 N.E. Loop 286. Motion to approve by Joe McCarthy and seconded by Bobby L. Myers. Motion carried 8 ayes and 0 nays. Eva Flenniken asked to be excused from the meeting. 14. Consideration of and action on recommendation of the Replat of Summerwood Estates, Lots 1, 3, 4, and 5, Block A, and Lots 1 -4, Block B. A motion was made by Curtis Fendley and seconded by Bobby L. Myers to approve the Replat with front yard requirement changed to 25 feet and other remaining requirements specified in the City Engineer's Memo dated March 2, 1998. Motion carried 7 ayes and 0 nays. 15. Consideration of and action on recommendation of the Replat of Lot 7, City Block 329. Motion was made to excuse Reeves Hayter from consideration of this item. Motion was made by Bobby L. Myers and seconded by Marshall Kent. Motion carried 6 ayes 0 nays. Motion to approve by Curtis Fendley, subject to City Engineer's Memo dated March 2, 1998, seconded by Bobby L. Myers. Motion carried 6 ayes and 0 nays. Motion for Reeves Hayter to return by Joe McCarthy, seconded by Marshall Kent. Motion carried 6 ayes and 0 nays.
