Public Hearing to consider the petition of the City of Paris for a change in zoning <br />from Agricultural District (A) to Commercial District (C), Lot 2, City Block 322, <br />being number 1625 N.E. Loop 286. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Earl Smith, City Engineer, spoke in favor of the zoning request stating land is involved in <br />land trade. <br />There was no opposition, the public meeting was declared closed. <br />13. Consideration of and action on the petition of the City of Paris for a change in <br />zoning from Agricultural District (A) to Commercial District (C), Lot 2, City Block <br />322, being number 1625 N.E. Loop 286. <br />Motion to approve by Joe McCarthy and seconded by Bobby L. Myers. Motion carried 8 <br />ayes and 0 nays. <br />Eva Flenniken asked to be excused from the meeting. <br />14. Consideration of and action on recommendation of the Replat of Summerwood <br />Estates, Lots 1, 3, 4, and 5, Block A, and Lots 1 -4, Block B. <br />A motion was made by Curtis Fendley and seconded by Bobby L. Myers to approve the <br />Replat with front yard requirement changed to 25 feet and other remaining requirements <br />specified in the City Engineer's Memo dated March 2, 1998. Motion carried 7 ayes and 0 <br />nays. <br />15. Consideration of and action on recommendation of the Replat of Lot 7, City Block <br />329. <br />Motion was made to excuse Reeves Hayter from consideration of this item. Motion was <br />made by Bobby L. Myers and seconded by Marshall Kent. Motion carried 6 ayes 0 nays. <br />Motion to approve by Curtis Fendley, subject to City Engineer's Memo dated March 2, <br />1998, seconded by Bobby L. Myers.
