She also advised the Commission that they may <br />need to take up a possible matter of designating certain areas for <br />manufactured homes. <br />Reeves Hayter stated that there are more areas than this that should <br />be addressed and that more information is needed to make a full <br />recommendation. It was suggested to appoint a subcommittee and <br />report back to the Commission. <br />Carl Lucas stated that the committee should meet as a whole with the <br />City Manager and the City Engineer present. Mr. Lucas stated that <br />this issue will have to be dealt with sooner or later. <br />Benny Plata stated that the Commission should designate an area for <br />manufactured homes, but it should not be where residences are <br />already in place. <br />Brad Archer asked if the City might develop this area as access to <br />Lake Crook, and Carl Lucas stated that he is not ready to go out on <br />a limb right now. <br />Reeves Hayter requested further information from TML and the City <br />Attorney regarding the current requirements in Texas for <br />manufactured homes. He also asked if the map should be updated <br />overall. <br />Reeves Hayter stated that they could look at the information by the <br />next meeting and make a recommendation. He stated that a <br />presentation on manufactured housing will take several meetings to <br />resolve. <br />There was no action taken on a recommendation.
