RESOLUTION NO. 92 -013 <br />DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ISSUE <br />CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS WATERWORKS <br />AND SEWER SYSTEM REVENUE BONDS, <br />SERIES 1992 <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS § <br />COUNTY OF LAMAR § <br />CITY OF PARIS § <br />WHEREAS, the City finds that an improvement program is <br />urgently needed for necessary improvements and extensions to <br />the Waterworks and Sewer System; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City deems it advisable to give notice of <br />intention to issue revenue bonds in the amount of $9,700,000 <br />for the purpose of improving and extending the Waterworks and <br />Sewer System; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is hereby officially found and determined <br />that the meeting at which this Resolution was passed, was <br />open to the public and public notice of the time, place, and <br />purpose of said meeting was given, all as required by Art. <br />6252 -17, V.A.T.C.S.; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF PARIS: <br />1. That attached hereto is a form of the Notice of <br />Intention to issue Waterworks and Sewer System Revenue Bonds, <br />the form and substance of which is hereby adopted and <br />approved. <br />2. That the City Clerk shall cause said notice to be <br />published in substantially the form attached' hereto, in a <br />newspaper of general circulation in said City, and published <br />in said City, on the same day in each of two consecutive <br />weeks, the date of the first publication thereof to be at <br />least 14 days prior to the time set for the issuance of such <br />revenue bonds as shown in said notice. <br />3.
