RESOLUTION NO. 92 -015 <br />WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Transportation has a <br />proposed project entitled, Older Driver Improvements, <br />designated State Project MCSP; and, <br />WHEREAS, said project would benefit the citizens of <br />Paris and it would be appropriate for said project to be <br />approved by the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />that the Mayor of the City of Paris, George Fisher, be, and <br />he is hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the City of <br />Paris to execute the Plan Sheet for the State Project MCSP <br />entitled Older Driver Improvements. <br />eorge fisher, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Mattie Cunningham, Cit C erk <br />APPROVED AS ORM: <br />i <br />T. Haynes, City Attorney <br />Resolution No. 92 -016, resolving that an application be made to the <br />Office of the Governor of the State of Texas, Criminal Justice Division <br />for a Crime Prevention Program, SFA01, grant in the approximate amount <br />of $24,000.00, that Michael E. Malone, City Manager of the City of <br />Paris be and is hereby appointed as the Authorized Official of said <br />project, and the execution of the application for said grant, that Karl <br />Louis, is hereby appointed as Project Director and is hereby authorized <br />to execute and deliver on behalf of the City of Paris all reports, <br />communications, assurances and documents necessary for the completion <br />of project, and that W. E. Anderson, Director of Finance, be, and <br />hereby authorized and directed to serve as the .Financial Office for <br />said project, was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, <br />seconded by Councilwoman Ingram for approval of the resolution. The <br />motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />t <br />
