RESOLUTION NO. 92 -019 <br />WHEREAS, the several departments of the City of Paris <br />have furnished the list of personal property on Exhibit A <br />attached hereto which no longer serves a useful purpose for <br />the City of Paris and its operation; and, <br />WHEREAS, it would be right and proper to declare the <br />personal property_on Exhibit A attached hereto to be surplus <br />property, since there is no known municipal use of the same; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, it would be appropriate to dispose of said <br />surplus property by auction duly advertised and conducted by <br />Monte Moore, Auctioneers, Texas Auctioneer License <br />TXS -9579, which firm has heretofore been approved for use by <br />State of Texas agencies, upon the terms and conditions of the <br />contract attached hereto as Exhibit B; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />that the personal property described on Exhibit A attached <br />hereto, be, and the same is hereby declared to be surplus <br />property of the City of Paris and the same may be disposed of <br />in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas and the <br />Charter of the City of Paris. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City of <br />Paris, George Fisher, be, and he is hereby authorized and <br />directed on behalf of the City of Paris to execute the <br />professional service contract providing for auctioneering <br />services with Monte Moore, Auctioneers, attached hereto as <br />Exhibit B. <br />Passed and adopted this 9th day of March, 1992. <br />orge Fisher, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Mattie Cunningham, CTrK tmrr- <br />APPROVED AS T FORM: <br />T.
