2...! <br />RESOLUTION NO. 88-029 <br />WHEREAS, the Office of the Governor of the State of <br />Texas, Criminal Justice Division has offered a Supplemental <br />Grant Award, being $250.00 from the State of Texas and <br />$750.00 from the. Federal Government for a total of <br />$1,000.00; and, ' <br />WHEREAS, acceptance of the same must occur within <br />thirty (30) days of the date of said award which occurred on <br />March 11, 1.988; and <br />i <br />WHEREAS, Resolution 87 -097 should be amended so as to <br />change the Project Director from Sue Smith to Benny Broth- <br />ers, Temporary Project Director, who should be authorized to <br />execute on behalf of the Permanent Project Director who has. <br />been appointed but .shall remain nameless for the purpose of <br />confidentiality; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the City Manager, Michael E. Malone, be, and he <br />is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of <br />the City of Paris, the Grant Acceptance Notice in the form <br />of Exhibit A attached hereto; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That Resolution 87 -097 be, and <br />the same is hereby amended to replace, the original Project <br />Director, Sue Smith, by Benny Brothers, Temporary Project <br />Director, who is authorized and shall sign all- instruments <br />and documents concerned with said Grant for the Project <br />Director who has been appointed but shall remain nameless <br />for the purpose of confidentiality. <br />Passed and adopted this 24th day of March, 1988. <br />i <br />o urnett, Mayor <br />,ATTEST: <br />attie Cunningham , —city er <br />
