CONTRACT AGREEMENT THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of , 19 by and between Quality Painting Company (the official name, 7—orm-76T 1128 Clarksville Street Paris Texas 75460 organization, and address of Contractor - it partnership, hereinafter called the "Contractor" and name of partners) the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, acting by and through its Mayor Billy Joe Burnett , hereinafter called "owner ". WITNESSETH THAT: WHEREAS, pursuant to the invitation-of the Owner, extended through an officially published "Invitation to Bid ", the Contractor did in accordance therewith, on the 6th day of January, 1988, file with the Owner a proposal containing an offer which was invited by said notice; and WHEREAS, the Owner has herefore determined that said offer was the lowest and best submitted: NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED: First: That the Contractor shall comply in every way with the requirements of those certain specifications entitled: —Cleaning and Painting Apparatus Room Ceiling at Central (Official title of the specifications anJ a statement of Fire Station the limits to which they apply) Second: That in consideration of the faithful compliance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement the Owner shall pay to the Contractor at the times and in the manner provided in said specification the total sum of One Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-Nine and no /100 Dollars (the basic contract price both in words and figures) $1,559.00 which sum is subject, however, to increase or decrease in such proportion as the quantities named in said proposal are so changed, all as in said specifications and proposal provided.
