26, j <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF PARIS, that from the above and foregoing canvass <br />of the returns of the votes in the four (4) respective <br />voting boxes in such election, it is declared and determined <br />that Travis Wortham is the person receiving the highest <br />number of votes of the votes cast at such election for <br />Councilman From Ward One (1), and is therefore elected to <br />serve as Councilman From Ward One (1) and as a member of the <br />City Council of the City of Paris for the ensuing two (2) <br />years; that Rondie L. Williams is the person receiving the <br />highest number of votes of the votes cast at such election <br />for Councilman From Ward Two (2), and is therefore elected <br />to serve as Councilman From Ward Two (2) and as a member of <br />the City Council of the City of Paris for the ensuing two <br />(2) years; and that William E. (Bill) Davidson is the person <br />receiving the highest number of votes of the votes cast at <br />such election for Councilman From Ward Three (3), and is <br />therefore elected to serve as Councilman From Ward Three (3) <br />and as a member of the City Council of the City of Paris for <br />the ensuing two (2) years; and that E. W. (Bill) Booth is <br />the person receiving the highest number of votes of the <br />votes cast at such election for Councilman From Ward Six <br />(6), and is therefore elected to serve as Councilman From <br />Ward Six (6) and as a member of the City Council of the City <br />of Paris for the ensuing two (2) years. <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of <br />Paris in regular session convened pursuant to the directions <br />of the Election Code of the State of Texas, on this the 9th <br />day of May, 1988. <br />Billy �' urnett, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />attie Cunningham, City C er <br />APPROVED TO FORM: <br />i <br />K. Haynes, City Attorney <br />Resolution No. 88 -040 authorizing and directing the Director of <br />Finance, W. E. Anderson, to execute the Prospective Risk Agreement with <br />Flex Pay Arrangements and the two amendments hereto, with Blue Cross <br />and Blue Shield of Texas, Inc., for health care services for City of <br />Paris employees. A motion was made by Councilman Clifford, seconded by <br />Councilman Fendley for approval of the Resolution. The motion carried <br />5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
